Electrical Control Panels
MEM Connections core competencies include electrical control panels and power distribution control, Harnessing capabilities include wire, cable, flat cable, fiber optics, or tubing for fluid or gas and integration of custom or commercial printed circuit boards.
We provide panels used in semiconductor manufacturing, industrial manufacturing equipment, and automation systems and controls.
MEM manufactures application specific electrical control panels for a variety of
products and markets. The panels we supply range in size from desktop devices to
panels in cabinets 8 feet tall.
MEM has experience in integrating and testing systems with hundreds of combined electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic subsystems.
Because MEM has the internal capabilities to assemble printed circuit boards, produce Panels, and has the cable and harness strength that the business was originally founded upon, MEM can successfully eliminate the mark-ups that typically exist at HLA and system integrators who lack these internal capabilities.
Harness Assemblies and Interconnects
MEM manufactures application–specific cable and harness assemblies for a
large variety of products and markets including complex wire harness
assemblies, pneumatic and fluid harnesses.
MEM delivers the highest quality products, whether your needs are low volume
or production runs.
Harnesses can be developed from drawings, sketches, or collaborative design
efforts. We also offer custom assembly from simple discrete wire jumpers to
complex multi–conductor shielded cable assemblies.
MEM specializes in coaxial and ribbon cable assemblies. Fixtures used for assembly of our harnesses accurately map out physical lengths, verify data, and offer revision control to ensure reliable and repeatable results.
We also provides harness-board developing services as well as developing fixture boards to improve the speed of testing complex harnesses and shortening the delivery cycle time to customers.
MEM has invested significantly in the latest automated, programmable Cirrus testers with the ability to test for continuity, hi–pot, and isolation to assure a reliable, accurate and consistent product. We can adapt any connector to our testers for quick and thorough evaluation.
Printed Circuit Board Assembly
PCBA and System Integration
MEM is a flexible, customer-focused manufacturing resource for printed circuit board assembly. Printed circuit board assembly services are performed in our West Boylston facility and can be combined with MEM’s full system integration for efficient, one-stop manufacturing.
As a micro-tier supplier specializing in Hi mix lo volume production, MEM typically works with batch sizes ranging from 1 to 2000 pieces.
Placement capabilities
Component Size:
We handle a wide range of component sizes to cater to the diverse needs of our customers: accommodating components as small as 01005 (imperial) or 0402 (metric) up to larger components such as QFPs (Quad Flat Packages).
Pitch:
We place components with fine pitches, typically ranging from 0.3mm to 0.4mm,. Additionally, our machinery can support larger pitch components, going up to 1.0mm or more.
Component Packaging:
Our Package of choice is tape-and-reel, we also accommodate trays, tubes, and loose components.
